Cough Suppressant:
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide
Controls dry cough. 30 mg
Decongestant:
Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride
Relieves nasal congestion 60 mg
Expectorant:
Guaifenesin
Loosens mucus and phlegm in the chest. 200 mg
Analgesic:
Acetaminophen (Extra Strength)
Relieves fever, sore throat pain, body aches, headache, and chills. 1000 mg
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS (alphabetical):
Alcohol, artificial sweetness enhancer, citric acid, D & C Red No. 33, flavour, glycerin, menthol, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium citrate, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol, water.
Directions:
Adult Use Only (12 years and over)
Shake well before using.
2 Tbsp. (30 mL) every 6 hours. Maximum of 8 Tbsp. (120 mL) per day.
Warning: Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough medicine to seriously harm a child. Use only on the advice of a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Overdose may cause nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness or severe or possibly fatal liver damage. Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI, e.g. drug for depression) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI. Consult a doctor if fever lasts more than 3 days, sore throat pain lasts more than 2 days, or symptoms last more than 5 days. If symptoms worsen or are accompanied by a high fever (>38°C) or the production of thick, yellow/green phlegm, talk to a doctor. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use if allergic reactions such as wheezing, rash or itching develop.
