Colace Clear Docusate Sodium Stool Softener Capsules gently and effectively provides comfortable relief from occasional constipation.
Do not take more than directed. Drink lots of fluids (one full glass ore more). Colace Clear generally produces bowel movements in one (1) to three (3) days.
Recommended Dosage:
Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1 or 2 capsules once or twice per day. Do not take more than 4 capsules in 24 hours.
Children 6 – 11 years: Take 1 capsule per day. Do not take more than 1 capsule in 24 hours.
Inactive Ingredients: gelatin, glycerin, PEG-400, propylene glycol, sorbitol sorbitan solution.
Active ingredient (in each capsule): Docusate sodium 100 mg¦stool softener
Do not use: if you have abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting; with other medicines or if you are presently taking mineral oil; for longer than 7 days (frequent or prolonged use may result in dependence on laxatives).
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you: are allergic to docusate sodium or any other ingredient in this product; are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: rectal bleeding occurs; symptoms persist or last for more than one week or you notice a sudden change in bowel habits that last for more than 2 weeks.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control center or a healthcare professional immediately, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
