Fibre Choice Daily Prebiotic Fibre helps support a healthy digestive system. It helps provide gentle relief of constipation and aids in regularity. The prebiotic fibre in Fibre Choice® Bone Health helps stimulate the growth of the healthy bacteria that live in your digestive system and is important for the maintenance of overall good health.  Fibre Choice® Bone Health also contains calcium that helps in the development and maintenance of bones and teeth, and vitamin D, which helps in the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorous. Adequate calcium as part of a healthy diet may help prevent bone loss/osteoporosis.

Directions: Adults: Chew 2 tablets up to 2 times per day. Start with 2 tablets and gradually increase up to 4 tablets. To minimize potential stomach discomfort, take with meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.

Medicinal Ingredients: (Cichorium intybus L. €“ root (Chicory))…2 g
Calcium (Calcium carbonate)…250 mg
Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol)…2.5 mcg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Sorbitol, citric acid, magnesium stearate, cherry flavour, strawberry flavour, wildberry flavour, FD&C red no. 40 aluminum lake, FD&C blue no. 2 aluminum lake.

Caution: Hypersensitivity has been known to occur. May cause mild gastro-intestinal discomfort such as gas, bloating, cramps. Consult a healthcare practitioner if – symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within seven days – you are taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement – you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever – you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or have failed to defecate following the use of a laxative product. For adults over 50 years old taking 4 tablets per day, Kidney stone formation has been known to occur with this daily quantity of calcium.
